Above the navel the song sets its own count, four and three, and calls that Om Namasivaya. People who proclaim the junction rite, sandhi upon sandhi, are called ghosts. The printed மூந்தவந்து is compressed; with the root channel beside it, an elder comes within and passes along that channel. The place to know is where evening and the junction stop.
The teaching
Sivavakkiyar unveils the esoteric science of inner sound and energy. Twelve finger-widths above the navel, in the twelve-petaled heart center (Anahata), the unstruck vibration of 'Om Namasivaya' echoes eternally. Orthodox ritualists waste their lives performing rigid junction prayers (Sandhyavandana) three times a day, tied to the external movements of the sun. The true yogic junction occurs when the ancient serpent power awakens at the Muladhara and ascends through the central Sushumna nadi (மூலநாடி). Entering the transcendent crown where day and night, sun and moon, and all temporal dualities cease (அந்திசந்தி அற்றிடம்), the yogi attains the eternal, timeless dawn.
