The printed verse is tightly packed, and the second line in particular does not settle into a clean grammar. A hymn with an offering placed on it is located inside those who have entered. If a maker surrounds what the line joins as sat-chu and the cinku, then the one who wears the bead and the kondrai garland will dance in the hall. The surpassing light, with love, is not something to be declared afterward. Outward praise and an inward surrounding are being distinguished, even where the wording stays obscure.
The teaching
Sivavakkiyar teaches that vocal hymns, scripted liturgies, and ritual offerings (தோத்திரம்) remain superficial noise until the practitioner achieves the inward withdrawal of the senses (Pratyahara). The verse explicitly enumerates the sensory faculties: touch and skin (தொக்கு / tvak), sight and eyes (சட்சு / chakshu), taste and tongue (சிங்குவை / jihva), and smell and nose (ஆக்கிராணம் / ghrana). When these outgoing sensory gates are gathered and enclosed within the meditative sanctuary of consciousness (உம்முளே சூழ்ந்திடில்), the Supreme Dancer—adorned with wild Kondrai blossoms and sacred Rudraksha beads (அக்குமணி)—performs His ecstatic dance of bliss in the heart's inner Chidambaram. In that profound interior stillness, the surpassing Radiance of Grace (மிக்க சோதி) reveals Itself spontaneously through silent, melting love, far beyond the reach of verbal recitations.
