Spirit and solid body are put to one claim: there is nothing else. The state named here joins a person to the feet of the good Lord, and to the Lord as well. If the love that stays inside, and the breath one labors over, are made to ache, the karma that has been a long torment is told to leave. It becomes far. The next song opens on that same going.
The teaching
Sivavakkiyar establishes that ultimate liberation is neither abstract intellectualism nor a rejection of the physical vessel. Instead, body (பொருளுடல்) and vital spirit (ஆவி) are unified in an uncompromising non-dual realization that "there is nothing else" (அல்லதில்லை). When devotion is turned inward with unceasing love and combined with the rigorous discipline of Vasi yoga—churning the breath through the central spinal nadi—the primordial weight of sanchita karma is dissolved. The tormenting karmic imprint cannot survive the heat of internal breath mastery; it is commanded to depart and vanishes into infinite distance, leaving the seeker in inseparable communion with the feet of the inner Lord.
