The blue lamp is back, now flickering on the forehead, and the singer tells you to understand it through and look at the radiance that was already inside. People who stay with that in devotion are that supreme itself. The verse ends in a personal claim. The ones who remained in that place are his masters. Where the earlier lamp-song spoke of the beginningless knower, this one bows to the people who stayed.
The teaching
Returning to the radiant vision of the Ajna center, Sivavakkiyar commands the seeker to contemplate the shimmering blue lamp (நீலமாம் விளக்கு) that flickers on the forehead. Rather than being distracted by outer phenomena, the practitioner must pierce through with intuitive understanding (உய்த்துணர்ந்து பாரடா) to behold the supreme Radiance burning within the heart of their own consciousness. Those rare souls who pursue this inner light with unswerving devotion become utterly transmuted, losing their separate ego-identity to merge as the Supreme Reality itself (பரமயம் அதானவர்). Sivavakkiyar reverently humbles himself before these enlightened beings who permanently dwell in that exalted cranial realm, hailing them as his true spiritual Masters (நாதரே).
