The body is read as the place where the outward gods have their marks. The moon is the left eye and the sun the right. One hand holds conch and discus, the other trident, deer, and axe, so both lords' signs occupy one frame. The lifted foot and the tall crown sit past the eight directions. Who can see the mystery that stands mixed into the body? The emblems are what that seeing would have to include.
The teaching
A profound revelation of the esoteric human microcosm (பிண்டம்) as the cosmic macrocosm (அண்டம்), shattering the sectarian divide between Shaivism and Vaishnavism. Sivavakkiyar perceives the unified deity—Hari-Hara—dwelling within the practitioner's own subtle anatomy. The left and right eyes correspond to the lunar (Chandra / Ida) and solar (Surya / Pingala) nadis of Vasi yoga. In this supreme inner vision, the attributes of Vishnu (conch and discus) and Shiva (trident, deer, and axe) unite into a single cosmic form whose dance transcends the cardinal directions. The Siddha challenges the blind orthodox world: who possesses the awakened inner sight to behold this magnificent, boundless divine presence dwelling directly within one's own flesh and breath?
