Night dies, day dies, and the Brahman within dies with them. What is left has crossed the cosmos and the egg of the cosmos and stands as form after form. The truth to be told is a bliss-form that speech has already left behind and mind has already left behind. For the telling of that, the speaker finds no companion other than the one who is speaking. It has come to that.
The teaching
Here Sivavakkiyar describes the transcendental realm of Turiyatita—the supreme state beyond all temporal, conceptual, and cosmic dualities. In this exalted silence, the polarities of day and night perish (அல் இறந்து பகல் இறந்து), and even the philosophical concept of an 'inner Brahman' (அகப்பிரமம்) dissolves, transcending the distinction between microcosm and macrocosm. The ultimate reality surpasses the physical cosmos and its boundless cosmic eggs, yet simultaneously permeates every manifest form. It is the self-luminous truth of pure Bliss (சுகசொரூபம்) which lies utterly beyond the reach of human speech and the discursive mind. Having crossed beyond all dualistic references, the Siddha finds no companion or secondary witness; in the solitary splendor of non-dual consciousness, the seeker, the sought, and the path have dissolved into one.
